In June 2008 my husband and I joined a medically supervised weight loss program. We had been overweight for many years and struggled with our self-image. We had tried different diets and were not successful.
We finally made the commitment to each other and ourselves that we would do it this time, giving it 100 %. One of the things we realized was how hard it is to find the right foods. We shopped for hours, read hundreds of labels, went to several stores and did some online shopping as well. We remember thinking “It should not have to be this hard!” Therefore we decided to do something about it. We opened a Specialty Food Store and will offer all the “right foods” under one roof.
The store is called The Skinny Pantry. We carry all of Walden Farms products, Dixie Carb Counters, Chocolite, Stash Teas, Stevia, Agava, Miracle Noodles (Lasagna, Orzo, Angle Hair Pasta) and much more.
We even have Low Carb Breads and Wraps.
One of the foods we were recommended by the clinic to help us were the Miracle Noodles. I was not sure my husband would eat them, they looked kind of funny and he is a somewhat picky eater. HE LOVED THEM! They really helped us. We are so grateful to have our lives back! This is why we want to help you on your successful journey to good heath.
